Members of the Boerne High School choir are celebrating successful performances in the recent Region Chair Placement evaluations, which saw 10 BHS students earn chairs on the Region choir.
First chair candidates include Callie Bryant, Soprano; Hannah Jordan, Alto 1; Isaac Haworth, Tenor 1; Louie Ramos, Tenor 2; and John Hodge, Bass 2. Ramos and Bryant were the only students in the small choir division to receive perfect scores in Sight Reading.
Additional placements include Samantha Negrete, 4th chair, Soprano 2; Cheyenne Allen, 3rd chair, Soprano 2; Mason Acock, 2nd chair, Alto 2; Gavin Kelly, 2nd chair, Bass 1; and Mary Luevano, 2nd chair, Soprano 2.
The ten students will represent Boerne High School at the state choir auditions in January.
