BHS Student Takes Best of Show

Boerne High School junior Scarlett Horton won "Best of Show" at Schreiner University's 16th annual Hill Country Art Survey.

Horton's photographic work, "Morning Routine," was judged to be the best piece out of more than 400 entries in the much-anticipated show.

The Visual Arts students at Boerne High did not stop there. Taylor Watson received 1st place in Traditional 2D with "Lily and Hibiscus," Brady McDaniel received 1st place in Photography with "Summer Moon," Justin Cortez received 1st place in Digital Manipulation with "Muted Emotion," and Meghan Kindred received 1st place in 3D Art with "Peony Pots." Camryn Lang received 3rd place with "Crane of Cards."
